RED Communications came to Broccoli with a brief to sample Spanish Picota Cherries to consumers during their peak season of June and July. The objective of the campaign was to drive consumers to specifically look for the Picota variety in stores at that time of year.
Key food-focused outdoor events were selected in London and Bristol and Broccoli managed the campaign for RED: from booking stand space, producing and installing graphics, selecting and briefing promotional staff (as well as producing their uniforms and branded sampling trays) to producing a thorough evaluation report.
Several thousand consumers sampled Picota Cherries at the events. Delighted by the taste of the fruits they went away looking out for the Picota variety during their next supermarket trip.
